We have 2 Single Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) located on our 2nd floor. Hattiesburg Surgery Center is utilized by our general surgeons and Southern Urology Surgery Center is utilized by our urologists. Our ASCs are staffed by skilled professionals to meet our patients every need. Both ASCs have state-of-the-art technology with premium service, in an environment that is designed to focus on patient satisfaction.

These ASCs are health care facilities which offer our patients the opportunity to have selected surgical and procedural services performed outside the hospital setting. Our ASCs offer exceptional ability to improve quality and customer service while simultaneously reducing costs to our patients.

The ASCs allow our physicians to schedule procedures more conveniently for our patients, assemble teams of specially-trained and highly skilled staff, and ensure the equipment and supplies being used are best suited for the patient.

Both ASCs are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). AAAHC is a private non-profit organization. It was developed to advance and promote patient safety and quality care for patients. We go through an on-site survey by AAAHC surveyors, who are health care professionals, every three years.

From U.S. Interstate 59: Merge on to US-98 W/Hardy Street via exit 65 toward Columbia. Go approximately 1.5 miles. Take a left at the red light onto Fairfield Drive. Take a right at stop sign. Southern Surgery and Urology Center is the two story beige building on left.
